Stitch & Row Counter — Save Progress and Undo

How it works

Name your current project and set a positive whole-number row target. Use Add stitch and Remove stitch to adjust the stitch count; Next row and Previous row adjust the row count. Moving to a new row does not automatically clear stitches: the counters are independent. Undo reverses recent count changes, including Reset counts, during the current visit. Keep the page open while you work, or return using the same browser profile.

Formula

Row progress = rows counted ÷ target rows. The progress bar stops at the target, while the numeric count can continue above it. Counts never drop below zero.

Example

If you count 20 rows toward a target of 80, progress is 25%. Adding a stitch changes only the stitch count. Pressing Reset counts sets both counters to zero without deleting the project name or target; Undo restores the previous counts. Only one current counter project is stored, rather than a cloud project library. Progress does not sync across browsers or devices, and clearing site data removes it. Undo history lasts for the current page session only.

Assumptions and limitations

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Image sampling and palette creation happen on this device. Only the generated grid and settings are saved locally; original image files are not stored by the tool.

Are these exact thread or bead colors?

No. The key provides approximate RGB/HEX colors. Match physical materials yourself and check a small sample before starting.

Can I use the downloads commercially?

Use images you own or have permission to adapt. Generating a pattern does not grant rights to an image or remove existing restrictions.
