How it works
Start with the built-in flower or choose your own image. Each grid cell becomes one stitch or one bead in a square layout. Choose the grid dimensions and maximum palette size, then inspect the symbols and counts before downloading. Smaller grids and fewer colors create simpler designs; larger grids can retain more detail but take more time to make. Use the stitch counter to track your work and the sizing calculator to estimate finished cross-stitch dimensions. Everything works in your browser, with no account or image upload to a server.
Assumptions and limitations
RGB colors are approximate, not manufacturer thread or bead matches. Every cell counts as one stitch or square-grid bead, including white.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Image sampling and palette creation happen on this device. Only the generated grid and settings are saved locally; original image files are not stored by the tool.
Are these exact thread or bead colors?
No. The key provides approximate RGB/HEX colors. Match physical materials yourself and check a small sample before starting.
Can I use the downloads commercially?
Use images you own or have permission to adapt. Generating a pattern does not grant rights to an image or remove existing restrictions.
